The Information Management Director will combine the technical skills required to manage our data, as well as the strategic vision for how to architect systems and conduct smart analysis that serves our overall strategy.

INTERNET DIRECTOR

Stand for Children seeks a dynamic, self-motivated individual to direct the overall growth and strategic direction of our organization's online presence. The Internet Director is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive online strategy, including internal and external promotion, online organizing, email campaigns, content creation, design development and technical implementation. This is a leadership position and requires someone who can motivate others to ensure the success of the organization as a whole.

Required Skills:
• Belief in Stand for Children’s mission and values;
• 7+ years online experience, including managing strategy development, content creation, and website development;
• Strong knowledge of website production technologies, including popular content management platforms (e.g. Drupal, Convio, Kintera) and the demonstrated ability to learn new systems. Familiarity with usability and accessibility concerns and techniques;
• Extensive contacts in the online space;
• Solid management experience and track record in motivating and building strong teams;
• Experience evaluating, contracting and managing 3rd party developers;
• Comfort training internal users and working with organizers to develop training programs for volunteers and organization members;
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow-through on commitments to others; can accept and incorporate direct feedback;
• Self-starter with ability to gracefully manage multiple tasks and projects under deadline;
• Exceptional customer-service orientation; proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team;
• 3-5 years experience managing content and production for high traffic websites.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR

Stand for Children seeks a dynamic, self-motivated individual to develop and manage our data management systems. As a growing national organization with local state affiliates, the Information Management Director will work extensively with our State Executive Directors to ensure that all online and offline information about our members and donors is clean, accurate, and accessible.

Requirements:
• Belief in Stand for Children’s mission and values;
• 5+ years online experience, including managing strategy development, data management, analytics, etc.;
• Experience with managing data from range of campaign strategies, including email campaigns, CRM functions, direct mail, phone banking, etc.;
• Experience managing at least one major CMS, one major CRM, one major analytics package;
• Experience integrating data from multiple systems, legacy systems, and vendors;
• Knowledge of at least one major database platform (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.);
• Experience developing and implementing organizational process around data collection and report generation;
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow-through on commitments to others; can accept and incorporate direct feedback;
• Self-starter with ability to gracefully manage multiple tasks and projects under deadline;
• Ability to train staff on data systems and procedures relating to their roles;
